Eugene Autry passed away peacefully at his home in New Orleans on July 15, 2018, his 78th birthday. Eugene was at the top of his game in '72 & '73, when he took to the Wrong Place stage, time and again, to hold the over-packed house in the palm of his hand with his songs, stories, humor, and antics. No one ever brought more raw talent, honed skill, or better songs to that stage. Eugene was a master. He was also a great friend and teacher. We love you and miss you, Eugene.
